Two Part Mini-Class
Developing characters is crucial in improv comedy, infusing scenes with depth and richness. Whether portraying a fussy co-worker, best friend, or distant relative, developing compelling characters enhances storytelling and allows for richer scenes.
In this 2-Part Mini-Class, We’ll explore creating characters with distinct points of view and strengthen improv skills while incorporating advanced character development techniques.
Instructor bio:
Rick Reebenacker is a comedian and theater artist with over 20 years of experience performing improvisational comedy. He performs improv and teaches at Queen City Improv. Rick has performed on stages from Los Angeles to New York and is a graduate of the Second City Training Center and studied Improv with The Upright Citizen’s Brigade, iO West and the Fanatic Salon.
